Ordering Options
The NAIC offers more than 100 new products annually that vary in complexity and structure. One product may be an initial offering with periodic updates offered on a subscription basis, while others are one-time studies or offerings sold as a stand-alone product. The following options give you the flexibility to customize how you want to receive and be notified of product offerings.

Subscription: Product used to generate a renewal notice for an upcoming year's hardcopy publication. The renewal notices are generated based upon adding this product to your order. The renewal notices will continue for this subscription until such time as you request the subscription be stopped. You always will have the right to accept/reject the upcoming renewal notice.

Hardcopy Kit: A package or set of similar hardcopy (paper, CD-ROM) products.

Shipping Information
Express Delivery: We can accommodate UPS and Federal Express. A $10 handling charge will be added to the express carrier's rate.

Shipping Costs:All domestic publication orders shipped from the NAIC will be sent UPS unless you request a different method. Shipping costs are determined by the cost of the product as follows:

$0-$5 = no charge $1000.01-$1500.00 = $50
$5.01-$25 = $8 $1500.01-$2000.00 = $52
$25.01-$100 = $11 $2000.01-$2500.00 = $57
$100.01-$200 = $27 $2500.01-$3000.00 = $65
$200.01-$300 = $32 $3000.01-$3500.00 = $70
$300.01-$400 = $37 $3500.01-$5000.00 = $75
$400.01-$1,000 = $47 $5000.01 and up = $80

NAIC RETURNS POLICY

If you are not satisfied with the product, please return it to the NAIC for a refund, exchange or account credit within 30 days of the date on the front of the Packing Slip above the order number. In order to receive a refund, exchange or account credit, the product must be in new, unopened condition with the NAIC quality seal intact. Subscription items cannot be returned after 30 days following the shipment of the first item. Products shipped via a RUSH request cannot be returned. Only the price of the product will be refunded; shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable. Refunds require 60-90 days to process. For all returns, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Contact an NAIC Representative at 816-783-8300 or prodserv@naic.org to receive a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. A refund, credit or exchange will not be issued without an RMA number.
  2. Return the item via a shipping carrier that will provide a "proof of delivery."
  3. Return the item in ORIGINAL condition. If the item has been removed from its shrink-wrap, the NAIC quality seal has been removed, or the item has been date-stamped or otherwise altered, then the item is not in original condition and cannot be returned.
  4. Complete Steps 1 through 4 on the back of the packing slip and submit the form with the return. An incomplete form will not be accepted for return.
