Insure U Goes to High School with Insurance Education
The NAIC is focusing on reaching teen drivers — a key consumer audience — about the importance of auto insurance. With help from the Pennsylvania Insurance Department, the NAIC launched Insurance 101 for Teen Drivers — an insurance education module for high school teachers to use in their classrooms. 

The insurance module is an interactive presentation that helps teachers demonstrate how bad driving decisions impact auto insurance costs. Presentation materials include an animated PowerPoint®, an auto insurance terms handout, a worksheet for use during the game and a combined multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank quiz. 

The Insure U financial literacy program has pulled in nearly 1 million impressions this year. The NAIC will continue focusing on financial literacy and reaching educators this year as a sponsor of Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy

Rita Moreno's Campaign Takes Off
Our consumer outreach campaign with legendary entertainer Rita Moreno is off to an impressive start. The campaign's public service announcements (PSAs) star Rita – one of just 12 people to earn an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony (known as an EGOT) –  as she shares her story to engage consumers about the importance of making smart insurance decisions.  Rita's PSA has aired over 10,600 times and pulled in nearly 85 million impressions – an ad value of $1.3 million. 

More Bad Breaks with RJ Mitte
Our successful partnership with Breaking Bad star RJ Mitte continues to build on the success of the 2015 campaign targeting millennials. RJ's video series RJ's Bad Breaks features his experiences and the importance of insurance. RJ conducted his second Twitter chat in May, generating more than 19.6 million impressions. The campaign has netted 27.6 million total impressions in 2016. Look for more social media posts from RJ in the upcoming months.
